The Woof & Wag 5K Run/Walk was organized in 2009 for the purposes of providing funds each year to the Colorado Humane Society, Colorado's oldest shelter.  The event will feature not only a Run/Walk, but also a Kids Fun Run, Pet Contests (Dog-Owner Look-Alike, Most Pampered Pet, Best Pet Trick), Great Sponsor Booths, and a Prize Giveaway!!! It should be an extremely fun filled morning for you and your entire family (including your pets!).  We look forward to seeing you at the event!

Race MapThis race is for competitive (chip timing, certified course) and recreational runners and walkers of all ages. Baby joggers and dogs on leashes are permitted for runners. Baby strollers are welcome for the walk.  Participants of the 5K Run/Walk and the Kids Fun Run will receive a 100% cotton short-sleeved T-shirt, a goodie bag with donated items and refreshments.

The 5K certified course will start and finish at Shea Stadium at Redstone Park in Highlands Ranch,Colorado. For your safety, no headphones, skates or bicycles will be allowed on the course. You are permitted to run with your dog, but please follow these guidelines: only one dog per person; you must use a 6 foot or shorter leash; your dog must have a current rabies and distemper vaccination, your dog must be spayed/neutered and at least 6 months old.

NOTE: If you prefer to register in person, you can do so at Highlands Ranch Optical, the Colorado Humane Society or on race day at the event.  Race Day Registration is from 7:00am - 8:45 am in Redstone Park.
